The hood hinges open on either side to reveal a blue-painted 270ci V8 with a single downdraft carburetor and an oil-bath air cleaner topped with Coca Cola script. Work completed under current ownership included replacing the radiator, fuel tank, and wiring harness. The truck left the factory with a 12-volt electrical system, and the oil and filter were changed in June 2023. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission. The chassis was powder-coated, the rear end was rebuilt, and the clutch was replaced under prior ownership.
